If, within 30 days of receiving your purchase, you’re not entirely happy, you can return the product for a full refund of the purchase price. Please ensure the following conditions are met:

  • Products must be in like-new condition, free from abnormal wear and tear.
  • Original packaging and tags should be included.
  • Restocking, damage, or missing part fees may apply (details available on product pages).

Warranty Terms

  1. Original Purchasers Only: Warranty coverage applies exclusively to the original purchaser of the product when purchased directly from Hydrus or an authorized affiliate.
  2. Excluded Products: Second-hand items and boards purchased from unauthorized resellers are not covered.
  3. Conditions for Coverage:
    • Products must be used and maintained according to the instructions provided.
    • Coverage excludes normal wear and tear, damage from misuse, or environmental factors (e.g., prolonged UV exposure or improper storage).

How to File a Warranty Claim

We aim to make warranty claims easy and hassle-free:

  1. Document the Issue: Take clear photos of the problem area and locate the product’s serial number (for boards, this is near the fin box).
  2. Contact Us: Email the photos, serial number, and a brief description of the issue to our team at crew@hydrusboardtech.com.
  3. Assessment: Our team will evaluate your claim. If further inspection is required, you may be asked to ship the product to: Hydrus Warranty Dept.

Warranty Coverage Details

1. Boards (Inflatable and Hard Boards)

  • Lifetime coverage includes manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Exclusions:
    • Damage from impacts or improper use.
    • Normal wear and tear, including scratches or cosmetic changes.
    • Damage from environmental exposure or improper storage.
    • Unauthorized modifications or repairs.

2. Paddles

  • Coverage: One-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Exclusions:
    • Damage due to misuse or improper handle installation.
    • Wear and tear from commercial use (e.g., rentals, instruction).

3. Bags and Backpacks

  • Coverage: One-year warranty against defects.
  • Exclusions:
    • Fading or damage from overloading, collisions, or misuse.

4. Electric Pumps

  • Coverage: 60-day warranty for manufacturing defects.
  • Conditions: Allow a 5-minute cool-down period between uses.
  • Exclusions: Damage from overheating or improper handling.

5. Leashes

  • Coverage: 60-day warranty for defects.
  • Exclusions: Damage from fin cuts, misuse, or excessive strain.

After Three Years: Additional Benefits

For products purchased three or more years ago, Hydrus offers extra support to extend the life of your gear:

  1. Complimentary Evaluations: Ship your product to us for a free inspection. Minor repairs will be done at no cost (you cover shipping).
  2. Reduced-Cost Repairs: For significant repairs, we offer high-quality service at discounted rates.
  3. Replacement Discounts: If repair isn’t feasible, you can purchase a replacement product at an exclusive discount (up to 50% off the lowest advertised price).

Refunds and Exchanges

  1. Refunds: Products returned in like-new condition within 30 days will be refunded in full. Return shipping and a restocking fee of 5-15% may apply for used or worn items.
  2. Exchanges: Within 30 days, you can exchange a product for another model. No restocking fee applies if the product is in like-new condition.

Our warranty applies exclusively to original purchasers to ensure that every product covered under our policies has been handled following our care and maintenance guidelines. Shipping Policy

Transit Times

  • Orders typically ship within two business days. Delivery times vary based on location and are provided as estimates.
  • For deliveries over 65 miles from a major metro area, allow an additional 1-2 business days.

Shipping Rates

  • Rates are calculated to secure the best value from major carriers.
  • Additional charges apply for expedited options and shipments to Alaska or Hawaii.

Damaged Shipments

  1. Visible Damage: Refuse the delivery and note "Refused due to damage" on the Bill of Lading (BOL).
  2. Hidden Damage: Notify us within three business days of delivery to file a claim. Claims outside this window may require the customer to cover shipping charges.
